First Black Commander in Chief, President Barack H. Obama
First Black Commander in Chief, President Barack Hussein Obama was sworn into office on January 20, 2009. It was a long awaited moment in the history of the United States of America, one many blacks thought would never come.
While there has been much speculation on whether President Barack H. Obama will fulfill is oath of office to the best of his duty, there is one thing that can not be denied, he has brought the hope of change to many of black people all over the world. During his speech, President Obama made a statement that "sixty years ago, my father could not sit at a counter to eat"....who'd ever though that one day the son of that father would be the First Afriacan American President of the United States.
